Welcome to the new SalemCommunity Connection! This is a new all-city publication combining various City of Salem newsletters including the former Community Connections, Park Lines, Sights and Sounds, the Recreation Guide, Quality Times, and On-Point Bulletins.

Why has the City combined the above newsletters? There are several reasons. First, to increase the number of residents who receive information focused on community issues. The new Community Connection provides content that previously was going to only a segment of the new distribution. A second reason is to reduce costs. The new newsletter not only reduces overlaps and duplications between the previous publications, but will also use it to increase electronic distribution and decrease printing and mailing costs.
