K-12 Programs
There are many ways to support positive after-school activities for area youngsters, from kindergarten through high school ages. Activities can include sports, boy scouts, girl scouts, volunteering, field trips, and much more. Below is a list some of the programs available in Salem and Keizer for after school activities.

All 12 of Salem-Keizer middle schools offer extended learning opportunties and homework assistance, which includes tutoring, recreation, enrichment, sports, community service, and field trips. Support is needed in the form of tutors, mentors, activity leaders and assistants, and chaperons, as well as donations of materials and funding for equipment and supplies. Each of the Salem-Keizer high schools offer after school activities, including intramural sports, athletics, theater arts, enrichment, and special interests. In addition, Barbara Roberts High School (alternative education program) offers enrichment activities. The majority of high school activities are sponsored by the individual school.
