The Salem Area Comprehensive Plan is the long-range plan for guiding development in the Salem urban area. The overall goal of the plan is to accommodate development in a timely, orderly, and efficient arrangement of land uses and public facilities and services that meets the needs of present and future residents of the Salem urban area.
Many different documents and maps, when taken together, comprise the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan. The following is a list of the components of the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan. Please note that not all portions of the following documents have been adopted as a component of the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan. Please see Salem Revised Code Chapter 64 for specifics.
