Parks Management SectionThe Parks Maintenance Management Section is responsible for the development, management, and maintenance of a park system encompassing 1,874 acres of park and open space areas with 29.53 miles of trails. These areas provide a backdrop for a wide variety of cultural, recreational, and educational pursuits. Parks Maintenance Management supports City goals and objectives by providing park maintenance and management, an urban forestry program, and volunteer labor coordination. Recreation Management SectionCoordinates day-to-day operations of park use and reservation system including Pringle Hall, Riverfront Park, and Center 50+ (Salem Senior Center).
