The Safety and Special Operations program coordinates several specialty fire service disciplines.  Those specialties include, Technical Rescue and Urban Search and Rescue, Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting, Hazardous Materials Response, and Water Rescue.  Members of these Special Operations teams receive additional training on techniques and equipment specifically related to their chosen specialty.
