Medical Benefits are effective the first of the month following your date of hire, or date of hire if hired first working day of the month. After intial enrollment, changes only allowed at annual open enrollment or within 30 days of a qualifying event (marriage, birth, death or divorce, etc.). Proof of dependent relationship will be required. Documentation can include: copy of the State certified birth certificate, copy of a marriage license, copy of adoption or court certified dependency paperwork, or tax returns.
