Children's Room Rejuvenation Updates!

The Children's area was built nearly 25 years ago.  It is time to spruce things up and align this busy space with the best current youth literacy practices.  During this time of change, the Children's Area will be closed.  Youth Services staff will continue to provide programs and services in a more limited way and in various locations until it is time to move back into the new and improved space.

We will continue to provide youth services throughout the renovation.  Staff and collections have relocated to Anderson A on the Plaza level.

Our Storytimes are Temporarily Reduced

Through the month of December, Storytimes will be offered on a more limited basis for the duration of the children's room rejuvenation as follows:

Preschool Storytime - Tuesdays at 10:30 am
Lapsit Storytime - Wednesdays at 10:30 am
Cuentos en espanol - Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

Storytimes have currently relocated to the Loucks Auditorium on the main level.

We plan to resume our normal storytime schedule in January 2015.
