Snuggle Up Reading Club
Families can sign up to read aloud together in March for 15 minutes each day, and earn a free book to keep. Sign up to get your reading calendar online here or at the Children's Desk.

Discovery Kids: Preschool Art & Science AdventuresSaturday, March 111-1:45 pmStory Rooms A & B
Children ages 3-5 and their grown-ups are invited to share a story and art or science fun. No sign-ups are necessary.
This program offers children a relaxing, non-threatening way to improve their reading skills. Visiting dogs and cats have been trained and certified as therapy animals by Paws for Love and are mellow and friendly. This is a drop-in program, and sign-ups are not necessary.
Kids in grades 2 to 5 are invited to explore their creativity and sense of innovation every third Thursday of the month. This program offers the opportunity to develop a variety of skills with different hands-on projects from carpentry to sewing, music-making and more.
Register at the Youth Services Desk or online. Parents are encouraged to stay for the duration of the program and join the fun.
Lego PartySaturday, February 18, 2-3 p.m.Story Rooms A & BAges 5 & Up
Kids with their grown-ups are invited on the third Saturday of every month for an hour of unstructured Lego play. Legos are provided. Participants only need their imaginations. No sign-ups are necessary.

Preschoolers and their families are invited to a special concert filled with music and movement. This program takes the place of our regularly scheduled storytimes for the day. Doors open at 10:15 a.m.
The show is free on a first-come, first-seated basis, and is made possible thanks to the support of the Friends of the Salem Library.
