The 2015 Summer Reading Club is here!

This summer, children from birth through elementary school can discover their super-power during Salem Public Library's Summer Reading Club. Staff and volunteers will be encouraging readers (and listeners) up through grade 5 to READ! READ! READ! with the theme "Every Hero Has a Story" and young adults, grades 6 to high school graduates are encouraged to "Unmask!" Sign-ups have begun and will continue through August 1st at the Salem Public Library Youth Services desk or online.

Wednesday Summer Performances

Join us for fun family performances this summer. All shows are in Loucks Auditorium. (Free) Tickets are required the day of the show for Reptile Man and Children's Educational Theatre performances, and will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m. on the day of the shows. All other shows are first-come, first seated. Doors open 15 minutes before each performance.

All performances are made possible by the Oregon State Ready to Read grant.
