Public Use Computers

Computers providing Internet access and Microsoft applications are available to cardholders and visitors during all open hours of the Salem Public Library. All patrons will be required to present in person their library card or  limited computer-use card in order to reserve and use a computer. The use of a card that is not yours is not permitted.

Computer use cards are free and are available to regular patrons without Salem Public Library cards. Patrons will not be issued a computer use card if they have a regular Salem Public Library card. Salem Public Library cards or computer-use cards are available with indentification which includes a photo and name from the Audio-Visual Circulation Desk or the Registration Desk on the Main Floor of the library.

Out-of-area visitors with valid picture ID will be given one-day visitor access codes. These are available at the Audio-Visual Center Reference Desk.

Each patron may use Internet stations for a total of one hour per day (in a single or multiple sessions.)
