Volunteer at Salem Public Library!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Salem Public Library. Volunteers play an important role in assisting staff in the delivery of library services to our community's residents. Annually, our dedicated volunteers donate over 23,000 hours of work to the Library.
We invite anyone interested in becoming a library volunteer to an orientation. Orientation is held on the third Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Library Board Room, which is located on the top level next to the Administration Office at the Main Library, 585 Liberty St SE, Salem, Oregon.
Attendance at an orientation is required before volunteering at Salem Public Library. Volunteer applications are available at any library service desk or at an orientation.
