If an item you want is currently checked out, you can reserve it. There is no charge, and you will be notified when it arrives. You can place a reserve:

• In person or by phone at the Information/Reference Desk at Salem’s Central Library, West Salem Branch, or Bookmobile or at any CCRLS member library.
• Through the library’s catalog computers
• Online from home using the online library catalog.

When a copy is available for you, you will be notified by our automated system.  Please note that your items will be held in a public area by your last name.  If you have questions about your hold items, please call our circulation department at 503-588-6060.

Looking for an item not available in the CCRLS catalog? You may either request that the library purchase the book, or arrange to borrow the book via Interlibrary Loan.
