The City of Salem bills approximately 46,000 separate customer accounts for water/sewer and sewer only on a bimonthly basis while some commercial, industrial, and wholesale accounts are billed monthly.
If you have moved and need to cancel or start water/sewer service or if you have a question regarding your bill, call Customer Services at 503-588-6099 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or send an e-mail to customer services. Please do not e-mail time sensitive issues. Payments can be mailed to PO Box 555, Salem OR 97308.

If you would like to participate in a tax-deductible donation program to help support individuals and families in need of assistance with water and sewer bill payments, please complete this donation form. Your donation is voluntary and will be used to provide assistance for those who are experiencing financial difficulties.
Dispatch Communications Center
The Dispatch Communications Center is responsible for dispatching field crews and responding to an average of 10,500 customers who call with problems.
If you have a problem to report with the City's infrastructure (such as a broken pipe or a pothole) call our Dispatch Communications Center at 503-588-6333 or send an e-mail to service@cityofsalem.net. Please do not send e-mail for emergencies or inspections.
The Dispatch Communications Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
