| Airport Advisory Commission |
|
The Airport Advisory Commission advises City Council on all airport matters. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. |

| Airport Noise Work Group |
|
Meeting summaries of the Airport Noise Work Group, which is composed of representatives of the Airport and Neighborhood Associations are available. The group discusses real issues about the airport and strives toward workable solutions for both businesses and neighborhoods. |

| Downtown Advisory Board (DAB) |
|
Advises the Urban Renewal Agency Board on matters related to the Riverfront-Downtown Urban Renewal Area and its tax increment fund allocations and advises City Council on matters related to the Downtown Parking District and the Parking Fund. |

| Housing and Urban Development Advisory Committee (HUDAC) |
The Committee recommends City Council on funding projects with CDBG and HOME funds . These funds are allocated to the City through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to benefit low income populations in Salem & Keizer. |

| North Gateway Redevelopment Advisory Board (NGRAB) |
|
Advises the Urban Renewal Agency Board on rehabilitation, and redevelopment matters, tax increment fund allocations and project priorities within the North Gateway URA |

| Salem Housing Advisory Committee |
| The Salem Housing Advisory Committee advises the City Council and Salem Housing Authority on housing goals and policies, including low and moderate income housing needs, housing assistance programs and Housing Authority budgets. Meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month at noon. |

| Salem Social Service Advisory Board (SSAB) |
| Advises City Council on social service needs and programs, and monitors ongoing Social Service programs. |

| West Salem Redevelopment Advisory Board (WSRAB) |
| Advises the Urban Renewal Agency Board on rehabilitation, and redevelopment matters, tax increment fund allocations and project priorities within the West Salem URA. |

| Salem Housing Authority |
|
On the first Monday of the month, the Council also meets as the Salem Housing Authority. The City Councilors serve as Board members, along with a resident representative to make a nine-member Board. The Mayor is not a member and the Council President serves as the presiding officer. The Board is a separate agency responsible for developing and administering housing assistance programs for low-income households within the Urban Growth Boundary surrounding the cities of Salem and Keizer. |

| Urban Renewal Agency |
|
The Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Salem is a separate municipal corporation responsible for governing Salem’s urban renewal areas: Riverfront/Downtown, Fairview Industrial Park, North Gateway, Pringle Creek, West Salem, Mill Creek Industrial Park, McGilchrist and South Waterfront. The Urban Renewal Agency Board in Salem is constituted by the members of the City Council, with the Mayor acting as Chair. The City Manager serves as the Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency.
The Urban Renewal Agency meets following the Council meeting on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM. |
