FedEx Opens

The Mill Creek Corporate Center is part of the Mill Creek Industrial Park Urban Renewal Area which encompasses over 828 acres of relatively flat land. 

In a collaboration between the City of Salem and the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services, Jones Salem, LLC, a Kansas City developer, has constructed the first building at Mill Creek Corporate Center.  On Tuesday, October 28, 2009, the FedEx Corporation conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new facility.   

 When completed, the Mill Creek Industrial Park Urban Renewal Area is projected to generate approximately $400 million in private investment, creating over 5,000 new jobs in the next 15 to 20 years.
