PRIP Phase I Roadway and streetscape improvements to Portland Road and the realignment of Pine Street had been priorities of the North Gateway Urban Renewal Area since the Urban Renewal Plan was approved by City Council in December 1990. |

Portland Road Improvement Project Identified again in the Master Plan for area improvement in October 2000, these projects were combined and called the "Portland Road Improvement Project" (PRIP) with limits at Hyacinth in the north and Sunnyview Avenue in the south. There were six main objectives of the PRIP: |
