Mill Creek Wetlands
Construction of approximately 70 acres of wetlands open space area in the Mill Creek Corporate Center as a stormwater detention, wetland enhancement area, and recreational space for adjacent businesses and residences.
Completion Date: March 2013
Cost/Funding Source: $2.7 million using Economic Development Administration Grant and State of Oregon Business Development loan funds.

Aumsville Highway
Road Widening Project to include water and stormwater infrastructure to accommodate a range of future development needs.
Completion Date: September 2014
Cost/Funding Source: $4 Million. Oregon Jobs and Transportation Act Grant, Transportation System Development Charges, Urban Renewal Area Tax Increment funds.

Mill Creek Reservoir
Design and construction of a 2.2 million gallon reservoir to meet the water system development needs of the Mill Creek Corporate Center, Salem Renewable Energy Park, and other uses within the southeast Salem area.
Completion Date: September 2014
Cost/Funding Source: $5.5 million. Water System Development Charges, Urban Renewal Area tax increment funds.

Mill Creek Waterline Loop
Construction of approximately 10,000 linear feet of 18 and 24-inch waterline which will assist in water flow improvements for the area. City will finance and construct 50% of project, with the other 50% being constructed and funded by the State of Oregon’s Department of Administrative Services.
Completion Date: December 2012
Cost/Funding Source: $1.5 million total (including State costs). Housing and Urban Development grant and Mill Creek Urban Renewal Area Tax Increment funds. |
