Scientists have discovered that learning multiple languages is best started during infancy. Babies from birth through 18 months are invited to bring an adult to a bilingual babytime every Wednesday. Adults do not need to speak Spanish to participate.

Los científicos han descubierto que aprender múltiples idiomas se empieza mejor durante la infancia. Los bebés de entre el nacimiento y 12 meses son invitados a traer un adulto a Cuentos Bilingües para Bebés todos los miércoles a la 1:30 p.m. empezando el 5 de julio. Los adultos no necesitan hablar ingles para participar.

Save the dates for the Friends of Bush Gardens 33rd Annual Spring Plant Sale, The Riverside Plant Sale, at Salem’s Riverfront Park Pavilion and north lawn.  This is the same site as last year, providing more parking, easier access, and greater visibility.  An outstanding selection of plants will be available from some of Mid-Willamette Valley’s most dedicated growers. In addition, BACKYARD GARDENING will be the focus of the event with an emphasis on organic vegetable starts, herbs, and choice plants for all your landscape needs.  Proceeds benefit the Interpretive Signage Project in Bush’s Pasture Park. Visa and Mastercard will be accepted.
