Make a difference in Salem!

No matter what your interest, ability, age, or how much time you have to give, there is a way for you to make a difference in Salem. Volunteers provide a powerhouse of skills, time, talent, and energy. They work together with appointed officials, paid staff, and elected representatives for issues that matter. Volunteers make Salem a home.

To honor City volunteers and recognize exceptional contributions to Salem through volunteerism a Volunteer Recognition Celebration event is scheduled for August 29, 2016. Any member of the community may nominate individuals, groups or projects deserving of special recognition by submitting a completed Volunteer Recognition Nomination Form no later than July 13, 2016.
