Downtown Safety Patrol
In addition to patrolling downtown parks and parking structures, Police and Parking Services Officers patrol the downtown area on bicycles. In addition to providing public safety services, our officers also act as guides to the City, providing information on tourist attractions, government services, and Salem history.
Safety Patrol at the Civic Center and Library Complex
Parking Services Officers routinely patrol the Civic Center and Library complexes on bicycles and on foot. Enforcement Officers also patrol the Pringle Park which is adjacent to City Hall, SAIF Corporation and Salem Hospital.

Parking Services Officers routinely patrol the Chemeketa, Liberty, Marion and Pringle Parkades.
