Safety Patrol and Enforcement of Park Regulations
at the Riverfront, Marion, and Wallace Marine Parks

Each park has specific operating rules based on their intended use. A copy of the rules can be obtained from the Department of Community Services at (503) 588-6261. In addition, all City Parks are regulated under the Salem Park Ordinance . Enforcement Officers can issue citations for park violations and/or issue a Park Exclusion which can exclude a violator from a City park for up to 30 days.

These parks are routinely patrolled by the Salem Police Department and Parking Services Officers. They are patrolled on foot, bicycle and by motor vehicle. Suspicious activity should be immediately reported to the Salem Police Department at 503.588.6123. On-going safety concerns should be reported to Parking Services Customer Service at 503.588.6133 or e-mail ParkingServices@cityofsalem.net.
