Salem's reservable facilities can provide the perfect option for a company picnic, group outing, family reunion, or other special event. 

Within the park system, there are a number of reservation sites and special facilities made available for rental. Below are links to some of the park areas that can be rented. Other areas that can be reserved include the Center 50+, Olinger and Walker pools, Wallace Softball Complex and soccer fields, and Geer Park Sports Fields.

To reserve a park , you must go to the Public Works Department at the Salem Civic Center located at 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 325, to submit a signed application along with any associated fees.

Requirements for Alcohol and Amplified Sound at Reservation Sites

Depending on the facility, amplified sound may be allowed; if so, a noise variance and $30 in fees will be required.

Alcohol is not allowed at all facilities; please check with staff for more information. If alcohol is permitted, a fee of $50 will be required. Only table wines and malt beverages with an alcohol content of 14 percent or less, and packaged in less than kegs will be allowed. Alcoholic beverages must remain within 100 feet of reservable area.
