Donors Money
Donors may leave a long-term legacy for years to come and help countless future seniors by participating in the Room Naming campaign. These significant cash contributions will go directly to the Friends of the Salem Senior Center's growing endowmen, and only the interest from the investment will ever be used toward operating costs. It's even possible to spread out the donation over several years. Contributions begin at only $50, so there is an opportunity for anyone to participate.

Newspaper Recycling Fund Raiser
The Friends of the Salem Senior Center is accepting newspaper donations at our new drop box in the US Bank North Salem Branch parking lot, 1940 Fairgrounds Road NE. The newspaper recycling fund raiser brings in hundreds of dollars each year in support of the programs and services at Center 50+. Just drop off your old newspapers at our collection box, and we'll do the rest. |
| Endowment Fund
An endowment consists of contributions whose principal is kept intact indefinitely, with the earnings on that principal available to finance operations. Making a gift to the endowment is a way to make a lasting contribution to the Center 50+. The fund is invested within the larger Evergreen Charitable Trust in Salem, Oregon.
