Center 50+ is a growing, dynamic organization poised to meet the evolving needs of the 50+ population of today and tomorrow. The Center welcomes input from new participants and partners to help develop a center that meets the needs of those ages 50 and older and serves the community.

Enjoy life-long learning through our lectures and classes.
Stay healthy and active with exercise and outdoor programming.
Explore the arts by attending a dance class, learning the fine skill of drawing and painting, or by joining one of our gallery tour groups.
Meet new friends and enjoy good conversation over a cup of coffee.
Have fun playing cards, billiards, or other games.
Share ideas at one of our book clubs or discussion groups.
Find support and encouragement from others at one of our support groups.

Classes/Activities

Salem's Center 50+ offers a variety of classes, activities, programs and trips for the community.

Volunteer

Center 50+ has limited paid staff, so most tasks are done by volunteers from the community.

On-going Services

More than 600 seniors use the Center daily, on-going programs available most days.

Donations

Contributions will go directly to Friends of the Salem Senior Center.

Hawaiian Luau
Friday, January 22, 4:30 p.m.
Seniors and their families are invited to a Hawaiian Luau right here in Salem. Be sure to dress for the theme. Dinner, entertainment, and fun for everyone to enjoy. A popular event for many years! Sponsor benefits include recognition on all press, logo on all flyers and invitations mailed to over 1,000 people, and table display at event.

Holiday Dinner and Razzle Dazzle Show
Wednesday, December 2, 2009, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The community is invited to enjoy a delicious buffet holiday dinner at Center 50+ and enjoy a dinner show provided by our very own Razzle Dazzle group! Of course a few trees, wreaths, and gifts will be raffled or available during the silent auction. Sponsorships available from $250-$1,000. Sponsor benefits include recognition on all press, including Statesman Journal Ad, logo on all flyers and invitations mailed to over 1,000 people, and table display at event.
