4.  ACTION ITEMS:  
  
     * (a) Resolution No. 2007-78 Setting Permit Fees for Marion Parkade     (AS)

             Recommended Action:  Staff recommends that City Council approve Resolution No. 2007-78 Setting Permit Fees for Marion Parkade.


     * (b) Administrative Decision - Partition 05-23 Amendment - Pacific Construction/Litchfield & Associates - 697 Idylwood Drive SE - Ward 3 - Councilor Nanke - Faye Wright(CD )

             Recommended Action:  Receive and File.


     * (c) Historic Landmarks and Design Review Commission Decision - Historic Review Case HIS07-19 - Angela J. Jones; SAMAX LLC; Karl Anderson, Architect - 231-233 Commercial Street NE - Ward 2 - Councilor Tesler - CAN-DO    (CD)

             Recommended Action:  Receive and File.


5. PUBLIC HEARINGS:  (Includes deliberations and deliberations from hearings held over from previous meetings). Public hearings will commence no later than 7:30 p.m.

         (a) Council Review of the June 28, 2007, Decision of the Historic Landmarks and Design Review Commission for Design Review Case No. 07-5 - Walgreens Pharmacy - 2150 Fairgrounds Road NE - Ward 5 -  Highland    (CD)

  Recommended Action:  Staff recommends that City Council adopt the Facts and Findings and approve Alternative 1, affirming the June 28, 2007, decision of the Historic Landmarks and Design Review Commission (Attachment A of the staff report).


6. CALENDAR OF ORDINANCE BILLS:

     6.1 FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE BILLS
 
     * (a) Ordinance No. 99-07  Relating to Sidewalks; amending SRC 78.010, SRC 78.030, SRC 78.040, SRC 78.050, SRC 78.110, SRC 78.120, SRC 78.130, SRC 78.150, SRC 78.152, SRC 78.154, SRC 78.156, SRC 78.158, SRC 78.180, SRC 78.182, SRC 78.190, SRC 78.192, SRC 78.220, SRC 78.250, and SRC 78.290; repealing SRC 78.140, SRC 78.155, SRC 78.170, SRC 78.260, and SRC 78.270; and creating new provisions

  Recommended Action:  Staff recommends that City Council advance Ordinance Bill No. 99-07 to second reading for enactment and set a public hearing on Ordinance Bill No. 99-07 for August 27, 2007. Ordinance Bill No. 99-07 amends SRC Chapter 78, Sidewalks, making technical changes, assigning responsibility for sidewalk repairs, requiring disclosure of sidewalk defects, and specifying procedures for enforcement actions.

  Recommended Action:  Staff recommends that the Urban Renewal Agency Board authorize the Executive Director to execute a Use Permit on the same terms as Attachment A of the staff report, in order to allow the State Fair to use Lots 2 and 3 of the Hollywood Station Site, for auxiliary parking for two days during the Fair.
