Salem Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident, located at the 1100 block of Wallace Road NW on Wednesday July 11, 2007 at 2:46 PM. First arriving fire fighter/paramedics discovered a Ford Explorer that had flipped on its side. Two vehicles were involved in the incident. The other vehicle a Dodge Grand Caravan received front end damage. The driver of the Explorer a 42-year old male, was transported to Salem Hospital in fair condition. He was the only person in the vehicle. The driver of the Caravan was evaluated by fire fighter/paramedics and was not transported.
