October 5, 2007 - Motor Vehicle Accident, Titan Drive NW

Car Crashes into Stone Wall

Salem Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident, located at the intersection of Titan Dr. NW and Firefox Street NW on Friday October 5, 2007 at 2:48 PM. First arriving fire fighter/paramedics discovered a Honda Accord that had crashed into a stone landscaping wall.  The front seat passenger was pinned inside the vehicle.  Fire Fighter/Paramedics extricated the person from the vehicle by cutting the door off. 

A total of 4-people were inside the vehicle.  One person apparently, the driver fled from the scene prior to emergency crews arriving.  The 3-other passengers were treated and transported to Salem Hospital in fair condition.  The 3 passengers were ages 15, 16 and 17.

The intersection was closed for approximately half-hour.  Salem Police is conducting an investigation of the accident.
