Read to a Pet
1-2:30 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of each month
in the Children's Room at Salem Public Library

Read to a Pet offers children a relaxing, non-threatening way to practice reading out loud. Visiting dogs and cats have been trained and certified as therapy animals and are mellow and friendly. Kids interested in reading can stop in or sign up at the Youth Services Reference Desk in person or by phone at 503-588-6088.
