            To consider recommendation to City Council that the 
            petition-initiated vacation of unopened McGilchrist St SE
            right-off-way, west of 12th St SE, be approved.
            Recommended Action:  Adopt Report

    (b)    Request to Rezone Four Properties from RH (Multiple  
            Family High-Rise Residential) to RD (Duplex Residential)
            in the Court/Chemeketa  Residential    
            Historic District    (Klaus Schilde; kschilde@cityofsalem.net)
            Recommended Action:   Adopt Report

4.     PUBLIC HEARINGS: Hearings begin at 5:30 p.m. unless
        otherwise noted.  The statement of criteria will be read at
        the beginning of the hearings.

    4.1   Comprehensive Plan Change / Zone Change No. 06-14 -
            3800 Block of Commercial St SE (Kevin Russell;
            krussell@cityofsalem.net)
            To change the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan Map designation
            from “Single Family Residential” to “Commercial” and the zone
            district from RS (Single Family Residential) to CR (Retail
            Commercial) for property approximately 1.77 acres in size.
            Recommended Action:   Approve

    4.2   Comprehensive Plan Change  / Zone Change No. 06-6 -
            2500 Block of Boone Rd SE   (Report Part 1, Part 2
            (Mike Cerbone;  mcerbone@cityofsalem.net)
            To change the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan Map
            designation from “Developing Residential” to “Commercial”
            and to change the zoning from RA (Residential Agriculture)
            to CR (Commercial Retail) for an 18.4-acre site located in
            the 2500 Block of Boone Road SE.
            Recommended Action:   Approve

    4.3   Salem Revised Code Amendment to Section 130.500
            (Screening Vehicular Storage Areas within all Residential  
            Areas) (CA 05-7) (Klaus Schilde; kschilde@cityofsalem.net)
            To amend the Salem Revised Code requirements for the 
            screening of vehicular storage areas within residential areas.
            Recommended Action:   Adopt Report

   4.4    Proposed Amendments to Salem Revised Code (SRC)
            Chapter 143D (Edgewater St/Wallace Rd Area Overlay
            Zone/Area 5: Edgewater St Corridor)  Prohibiting Automobile-
            Oriented and Other Certain Uses not Consistent with the
            West Salem Neighborhood Plan (CA 06-7)   (Bryce Bishop; 
            bbishop@cityofsalem.net)
            To amend SRC Chapter 143D, the Edgewater Street/Wallace
            Road Overlay Zone to prohibit automobile-oriented and other
            certain uses that are not consistent with the West Salem
            Neighborhood Plan within the Edgewater St Corridor.
            Recommended Action: Adopt Report
