                          To set a public hearing
before the Salem Planning 
                                   Commission
to consider amending Salem Revised Code
                                   Title X, Salem Zoning Code, to establish a formal Site Plan
                                   Review process to ensure that commercial and multi-family
                                   development occurs in a manner consistent with the Salem
                                   Revised Code.
                                   Recommended Action:  Approve Resolution

         the beginning of the hearings.

4.1     Comprehensive Plan Change/Zone Change No. 08-4 for  
          property located at 1351, 1400, 1415 and 1430 Tandem
          Avenue NE (Lisa Anderson;

To change the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan map designation
              from "Industrial" to "Industrial-Commercial" and to change the zoning
              district from IG (General Industrial) to IC (Industrial Commercial)
              for property 21.87 11.89 acres in size and located at 1351, 1400,
              1415 and 1430 Tandem Avenue NE and 3583 Del Webb Avenue NE 
              (Withdrawn) (Marion County Assessor’s Map and Tax Lot Numbers
              073W11DA00600, 01700, 01702, 07103 and 073W11DB01400
              and 01500).
               Recommended Action:  Adopt Report

4.2     Comprehensive Plan Change/Zone Change No. 08-6 for 
          property located at 3210 Del Webb Avenue NE
          (Lisa Anderson;
lmanderson@cityofsalem.net)
          To change the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan (SACP)
          map designation from "Industrial" to "Industrial-Commercial"
          and to change the zoning district from IG (General Industrial)
          to IC (Industrial Commercial) for property approximately 4.65
          acres in size and located at 3210 Del Webb Avenue NE, in the
          Cherry Avenue Industrial Center (Marion County Assessor’s
          Map and Tax Lot Numbers 073W11DC00800 and 00300).
          
Recommended Action:   Adopt Report

4.3   Comprehensive Plan Change/Zone Change No. 08-7 for  
         property located at 4040 Fairview Industrial Dr SE
         (Pamela Cole;

         To change the Salem Area Comprehensive Plan Map
         designation from "Industrial" to "Industrial-Commercial"
         and to change the zoning from IBC (Industrial Business
         Campus) and IP (Industrial Park) to IC (Industrial 
         Commercial) for property approximately 7.94 acres in size
         and located at 4040 Fairview Industrial Drive SE (Marion
         County Assessor’s Map 083W12B, tax lot 00302)
         Recommended Action:  Approve

                   property located at 1351, 1400, 1415 and 1430 Tandem
                   Avenue  NE
                   Recommended Action:   See 4.1 above.

                  Recommended Action:   See 4.2 above.

         5.3    Comprehensive Plan Change/Zone Change No. 08-7
                  for property located at 4040 Fairview Industrial Dr SE  
                  Recommended Action:  See 4.3 above.
