Important Dance Class Information

Recommended Shoes:

• Ballet - Girls, pink; boys, black
• Hip Hop - Black hip hop sneakers or black tennis shoes
• Tap - Solid black tap shoes

Note: All students registered for the ballet and tap dance classes must bring $5 payable to the instructor to purchase a required tap dancing board.

Instructor:

We are excited to welcome Sandy Shaner! Teacher Sandy is well known in the Portland area as a choreographer, instructor, director, and performer. Miss Shaner has been instructing dance for Van De Veere Productions in several locations. Her unique teaching style inspires young dancers to always do their best. Miss Shaner has worked with the Oregon Symphony and the Classic Greek Theater. She is a gem!

Beginning Ballet and Tap

Introduce your child to the wonderful world of dance! Unique teaching skills will have your child twirling in class. Dancers explore movement through fun, recognizable songs, allowing them to explore and express themselves through dance.

Beginning Ballet

Hip Hop

Ages 9-14

Mondays, 7:15-8:00pm

Returning and new students are welcome to learn the best moves! Get your groove on, baby! Build friendships with dance, or join with a friend. This class is sure to get you hopping! The instructor works hard to keep the moves and the music clean and fun for all. What a workout!
