295 Church Street A five-story building with three floors of condominium units, 295 Church Street is also under construction in downtown Salem. Scheduled to open in 2009, the development will be anchored by its two bottom floors: Salem’s public access TV station Capital Community Television (CCTV), a new facility for the City of Salem Information Technology Department (IT) in another condominium unit, and a small privately owned retail space. |

Kroc Center Funded by a $50M grant from the Ray and Joan Kroc Estate to the Salvation Army, the $36M Kroc Center will include a competition-sized pool, indoor aquatic leisure center, and a recreation pool with water slides; a multi-activity gymnasium, fitness center, rock climbing pinnacle, and aerobics and dance facility; and an outdoor amphitheater and sports field. |

Salem Vision 2020 A community-wide process that will help shape the future of Salem’s city center, Salem Vision 2020 includes downtown and West Salem businesses, Willamette University, Salem Hospital, State of Oregon, Salem-Keizer Transit, the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Salem Convention and Visitors Association, Marion County, and others. |

Mill Creek Corporate Center Mill Creek Corporate Center is comprised of 600 acres of relatively flat land in southeast Salem with easy access to Interstate 5 and Highway 22. Zoned Employment Center (EC), a mix of uses including warehouse distribution, light manufacturing, business park and commercial is allowed. About 200 acres is “shovel ready” certified. |

Salem River Crossing Is developing solutions for crossing the Willamette River in the Salem-Keizer metropolitan area that meet transportation needs, are compatible with the built and natural environments, and have broad community and regional support. |

Salem Hospital Expansion Salem Hospital is expanding in Salem to include a new patient tower and regional laboratory. This signficant investment will also bring a cadre of new physicians and nurses to Salem. |

Riverfront Redevelopment There is a lot of excitement and anticipation in Salem's downtown, particularly on the Riverfront. The former Boise Cascade 13-acre site on the Willamette River is set for redevleopment into a mixed use area with shopping, restuarants, condominiums, and offices. |

Hollywood Station In addition to the City's investment in a new 30,000 sf Senior Center over two floors, construction is underway on 24 town homes and 15,000 square feet of commercial in north Salem. |
