Downtown Revitalization Strategy

Pursue a rubber-tire trolley for the downtown area.

Status Update

The Vision 2020 group has expressed interest in a circulator trolley for the downtown and core area. The City Manager and staff met with the Transit Director to discuss a process for conducting a feasibility study for a core-area circulator. A “placeholder” intent to apply for a ConnectOregon II grant has been submitted for capital expenses for a circulator. The Vision 2020 public input process will provide information regarding interest in this project.
