Downtown Revitalization Strategy

Implement downtown streetscape improvements.

Status Update

The downtown streetscape saw many improvements in 2007.  The old concrete trash receptacles and planters were removed and replaced with street furnishings that match the old-fashioned street lighting.  In addition hanging flower baskets were hung within the core area of downtown from June through October.  New wayfinding signs designed to match the current downtown banners were installed to guide visitors to downtown parking garages.
