Livability & Neighborhoods Strategy

Build a new “wagon wheel” of ball fields at Wallace Marine Park.

Status Update

There are currently 40 undeveloped acres on the north side of the existing softball complex at Wallace Marine Park. The city's current Capitol Improvement Program (CIP) calls for the development of at least three additional lighted softball fields and support facilities in the northern undeveloped portion of the park in the 2007-08 fiscal year.   The site is currently being surveyed, and a consultant will be contracted with in early 2008 to do the design, drawings, and permitting phase of this project.
