Public Safety Strategy

Create a Lancaster Drive Motorist Safety Zone.

Status Update

Salem Public Works has active projects that will partially relieve congestion and traffic problems on Lancaster Drive. Additional right-turn lanes are currently being added to the intersection of Market Street NE/Lancaster Drive NE. This project is scheduled to be completed November 2007. The intersection of Sunnyview Road NE and Lancaster Drive NE is also scheduled for additional right-turn lanes in the summer of 2008.
