Driving from I-5
Take Exit 253 (Route 22). At the end of the exit lane turn left if coming from the south, or right if coming from the north. Go west on Route 22. After about 1 mile, Route 22 bears right on the railroad overpass; however, keep going straight on Mission Street past Bush Park to Liberty Street. Turn right onto Liberty Street, immediately moving into the left lane. The library will be on the left side.

Driving from the West
Take Rt. 22 into West Salem and go over the Center Street Bridge over the Willamette River. Stay in the right lane and take the first right exit which is marked "99E, Albany, Rt 22 East". Stay in the far right lane at the light, turn right onto Commercial Street. Immediately move into the left hand lane. Turn left onto Leslie Street. The first left will be the Salem Public Library Parking Garage.

Driving from the East
Take Rt. 22 west into Salem, continuing straight onto Mission Street. After about 1 mile, Route 22 bears right on the railroad overpass; however, keep going straight on Mission Street past Bush Park to Liberty Street. Turn right onto Liberty Street, immediately moving into the left lane. The library will be on the left side.

Parking
Parking in the Salem Public Library Parking Garage costs 50 cents an hour when the meters are running.The meters are active from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday - Saturday. Sundays and city holidays are free.

Traveling by Bus
