Music at the Library

A World of Music at the Library is a library-produced series offering a variety of musical genres. Concerts are scheduled monthly October-April of each year. The World of Music at the Library series is sponsored by the Salem Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Salem Public Library. More information is available by calling 503-588-6052.

The new 2009-2010 season is now in development and will be announced this summer. 

Tickets for each year’s premium show are $10 for adults in advance or $12 at the door. Tickets for all other shows are $5 per seat for adults in advance or $7 at the door. Children ages 10 and younger can get a free ticket, with the purchase of an adult ticket. Children are required to have a ticket for admission.

In addition, Salem Public Library sponsors Camarata Musica, a monthly chamber music series, and periodic appearances by community choirs and bands throughout the year.
