Renewing Items

Most items can be renewed for one additional check-out period unless there is a waiting list. A few items (new books, DVD/videos, fine art, and magazines) do not renew. To avoid a fine, please renew on or before the due date. It is best to renew materials shortly before they are due in order to maximize the extended loan.

Items may be renewed three ways: 

• In person at Salem’s Central Library, West Salem Branch or Bookmobile or at any  CCRLS member library.
• Online through the library catalog at “My Account.” 
• By phone with TeleCirc at 503-589-7740. TeleCirc is an automated library system available 24 hours a day. 

Please make note of the new due date. It is your responsibility to be aware of the new due date in order that materials are returned on time.
