Automated Telephone Circulation System
Telecirc is an automated library system that offers access to your library account, even when the library is not open. You can call telecirc learn if materials are being held for you, renew items, and more.
- Dial 503-589-7740. Telecirc will play a welcome message.
- Enter your library card number, which is located directly under the barcode, beginning with the numbers "23610"
- Press 1 to renew items.
- Press 2 to list titles currently checked out to you.
- Press 3 to hear a list of items on hold, or to cancel titles on hold.
- Press 4 to hear your total fines.
- Press the pound key (#) to repeat options.
- Press star (*) to end the call at any time.
When TeleCirc Calls You
TeleCirc will call you when items you have placed on hold are available or when items become overdue. However, TeleCirc does not list the titles on hold or overdue.
If an item is on hold
If TeleCirc calls and notifies you that an items or items is on hold, you may call TeleCirc with your library card number ready to hear a computerized voice read the titles of your holds.

If an item is overdue
If TeleCirc calls and notifies you about an item or items that are overdue, you may try to renew them. Call TeleCirc with your library card number ready to hear a computerized voice read the titles that are overdue. - Dial 503-589-7740. Telecirc will play a welcome message.
- Enter your library card number, which is located directly under the barcode, beginning with the numbers "23610"
- Press 1 to renew items.
- Press 2 to list titles currently checked out to you.
- Press 4 to hear your total fines.
- Press the pound key (#) to repeat options.
Press star (*) to end the call at any time.
If TeleCirc cannot renew a title for any reason, it will tell you. If the renewal goes through, TeleCirc will give you the new due date. Please make note of the new due date.It is your responsibility to be aware of the new due date in order that materials are returned on time.
