Driving from South on I-5
Take Exit 253 (Rt 22) and turn left, heading West on Rt 2, which becomes Mission St. After about one mile the street bears left and goes over the railroad overpass. Continue going straight past Bush's Pasture Park and just past High St. get in the right hand lane and turn right on Liberty St SE. Head North on Liberty getting in the second lane from the left.  Go through downtown and turn left on Marion St.  Travel over the Marion St. Bridge eventually getting into the right hand lane. This lane will exit off of the bridge; stay in the right hand lane and turn right onto Wallace Rd. NW. Continue on Wallace Rd staying in the right lane until Glen Creek Rd. Turn right and the West Salem Branch is on the left behind Roth's Supermarket.

Driving from the West
Go North on Rt 22 (Dallas Highway) and take the West Salem exit. Travel on Edgewater St NW through West Salem to Rosemont (first street after Safeway). Turn left  and go up Rosemont as it turns into Cascade. Turn right on Glen Creek Rd. Cross Wallace Road. The West Salem Branch is on the left behind Roth's Supermarket.

Driving from the East
If you are on Center St., head West. Just after 17th St., Center will jog to the right and become Marion St. Continue West on Marion St. over the Marion St. Bridge. Get in the right hand lane, which will exit into West Salem. Continue in the right lane and turn right onto Wallace Rd. Continue to Glen Creek and turn right. The West Salem Branch is on the left behind Roth's Supermarket.

If you are exiting I-5, travel West on Market St. Continue for a couple of miles. Go through the intersection of Broadway and Market and two blocks later turn left on Commercial St NE. Head South on Commercial St to the Marion St. Bridge. Turn right on the bridge and get into the right hand lane, which will exit into West Salem. Continue in the right lane and turn right onto Wallace Rd. Continue to Glen Creek and turn right. The West Salem Branch is on the left behind Roth's Supermarket.

Traveling by Bus
The Salem Public Library's West Salem Branch is located next to the Glen Creek Transit Station, and so is served by all West Salem bus routes insluding #10 (Orchard Heights), #12 (Wallace Road), #19 (Glen Creek), #23 (Eola), #24 (West Salem Loop), and #25 (West Salem to Downtown).
