Salem Parks Foundation 2006 Grant Program

Salem Parks Foundation

Great cities have great parks

The Salem Parks Foundation has awarded six grants totaling $3,000 to improve neighborhood parks throughout Salem. Several neighborhood associations submitted grant proposals, describing the park they wanted to enhance, information about the current use and users of the park, what the money would be used for, and why their park needs the grant. The number of grants awarded was expanded from three $500 grants to six, because so many good projects were submitted.
