(A) Resolution No. 08-4 (Bryce Bishop; bbishop@cityofsalem.net) A resolution to initiate code amendments to the Salem Revised Code to allow religious organizations as an outright permitted use within the CB (Central Business District) zone. Recommended Action: Approve 2.3 Liaison Matters:

3. APPEARANCE OF INTERESTED CITIZENS, NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS AND ADVISORY COMMITTEES
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Hearings begin at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The statement of criteria will be read at the beginning of the hearings.
4.1 Code Interpretation No. 08-1 for Salem Revised Code Chapter 111, Definitions (Bryce Bishop; bbishop@cityofsalem.net) South Central Association of Neighbors (SCAN)-initiated formal code interpretation requesting clarification of the number of residents and the type of activities and services permitted in "Residential Homes" (SRC 111.190(d)) as opposed to "Residential Care Facilities" (SRC 146.040(m)). Recommended Action: Adopt Report
