Here's how to participate in public hearings:

Any person wishing to speak either for or against a proposed code amendments may do so in person or by representative at the public hearing. Written comments may also be submitted at the public hearing. Prior to the public hearing, written comments may be filed with the City of Salem Community Development Department, Planning Division, 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 305, Salem, Oregon 97301.

In order to ensure the broadest range of services to individuals with disabilities, the City of Salem will be pleased to make necessary arrangements for attendance at these public hearings. To request services, please call the number listed below at least two working days (48 hours) in advance of the public hearing date:
