Natural Resources
"Developing and implementing local programs to protect and enhance Salem's natural resources"

Salem's trees have always been very important to its residents. There are more than 95,000 trees planted along our city streets and avenues. And those are just the ones that the City is responsible for! There are thousands of other trees planted on private lands throughout the city. To find out more information about our local trees and efforts to protect them, visit some of these other web pages.
