On July 6, 2004, Salem City Council deliberated on proposed amendments to the Wetlands Ordinance. Council voted to adopt the Local Wetland Inventory and to adopt the procedures to keep the inventory up-to-date. Council voted not to adopt the list of significant wetlands and not to adopt the protection measures for City Park Significant Wetlands.
