There are always items for sale: birdhouses, lawn chairs, and collapsible tables for example. Other items may be special ordered. If you would like to learn to build something, work with wood, or use power equipment or the scroll saw, we can help. There is a small donation required. Sewing
Our group meets every Thursday morning and consists of four ladies from ages 65 to 90. While we sew, we visit, and it is very interesting to learn what each has experienced in life and why we like to volunteer our time to sewing. We make big bibs, lap robes, small pillows for nursing homes, and book bags and hand puppets for schools. We appreciate all the materials donated for these projects, and if we can't use them, we donate to others who can.
