Among Friends Day Respite Program

Volunteers WANTED!

The Salem Senior Center Among Friends Adult Day Care Program is designed to provide opportunity for socialization and engagement for individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. The program is now recruiting volunteers.

Among Friends Respite Program is looking for volunteers on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Volunteers will assist in all aspects of the program.

• Assist with activities
• Monitor space
• Provide one-on-one attention as needed
• Assist with meal and snack time
• Assist with breaks, welcome, and closure
