Success Stories

A single mom wakes her children each morning at 4:30 to get ready for the day. They are living in a local homeless shelter, and she is faithfully catching the city bus at 6:15 each morning to transport her children to Grant Elementary School and Parrish Middle School. Her children have 95% attendance, and her seventh grader was nominated for the Willamette Academy, a program that would enable this student to be the first family member to attend college. The city bus pass is a lifeline for education and needed resources for this family.
