Standard - Long Term Disability

The City provides a long term disability plan for career confidential, management and unrepresented employees through Standard Insurance Company.

If you become disabled while insured under the group policy, Standard will pay LTD benefits after they receive satisfactory proof of loss. 

Waiting period – 120 days

Benefit – 60 % of the first $10,000 of your monthly predisability earnings, reduced by deductible income

Pre-existing condition period – 90 days prior to the effective date of insurance
