Inspection Request

Inspection requests for incorrect site addresses, or where the work is not ready for inspection will be subject to re-inspection charges. Inspections should be ready by 8 a.m. and we will do our best to get to the inspection on the date that you request; however, changing work volumes make it so that we cannot guarantee inspections on the dates you specify. If your inspection will be ready at any time other than 8 a.m., please call 503-589-2021 to schedule your inspection. If you would like to request a Final Inspection for Single Family houses, Multi-Family Dwellings or Commercial/Industrial projects, you will need to call the Permit Application Center at 503-588-6256. If the inspection that you are requesting is for a Public Construction Project, please contact your assigned inspector.

Inspections scheduled through the website will only be scheduled for the current business day if received before 7 a.m. If you require a same day inspection, you will need to call our Dispatch Communication Center at 503-589-2021 to schedule that inspection and will need to have your Immediate Inspection Permit Number in addition to your permit number.
