Wastewater Collection Services

Wastewater Collection Services strives to protect the health and safety of the residents of the area by safely transporting sewage to the wastewater treatment plant for processing. This job requires the routine inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of over 750 miles of pipeline and nearly 16,000 manhole structures.

The City operates 29 pump stations to move wastewater across the area for treatment. In addition, staff provides anywhere from 200 to 300 new taps per year into the collection lines so new construction around the city is properly connected to protect the safety of our families.
