The Street Program of the Engineering Division consists of designing and constructing street improvement projects that are funded by a variety of sources such as surplus 1995 street bond funds, urban renewal funds, transportation systems development funds, and ODOT grant money. A list of current significant street projects is as follows:

Street Projects: $1 million

Significant Construction Projects Include:

• Hawthorne Avenue Improvements.

Significant Design Projects Include:

• Kuebler Boulevard widening.
• Salem Industrial Drive improvements.
• Front Street Phase 2 off-ramp improvements.
• Intersection improvements at Market Street/Lancaster Drive, Sunnyview Road/Lancaster Drive, Gaffin Road/Cordon Road, Macleay Road/Cordon Road, Croisan Creek Road/River Road.
• Various traffic signal and coordination projects.

Bridge Projects: $5 million
